At Carty Care, our Support Work services are designed to support the whole person—emotionally, physically, socially, and creatively. Whether at home or out in the community, we offer meaningful, one-on-one support that aligns with each participant’s personal goals and NDIS plan.

We understand that every individual is different. That’s why all of our services are tailored to meet your unique needs, preferences, and pace—building skills, confidence, and wellbeing in a way that works for you.

We combine practical assistance with trauma-informed, creative strategies to support people living with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to:

✔️ Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
✔️ ADHD & sensory processing differences
✔️ Non-verbal communication
✔️ Emotional and behavioural regulation challenges
✔️ Intellectual or developmental delay
✔️ Genetic and neurological conditions (e.g. Phelan-McDermid Syndrome, Trisomy 8 Mosaicism)
✔️ Physical disabilities or mobility needs
✔️ Anxiety, trauma responses, and social withdrawal

With over 18 years of experience supporting participants across different ages and abilities, we provide care that is compassionate, respectful, and goal-focused.

Our Support Work is flexible, participant-led, and always aligned with your goals and lifestyle. Services may include:

• In-Home Support & Daily Living Assistance
  Help with routines, self-care, light domestic tasks, and building independence in everyday life.
   
• Skill-Building & Capacity Development
  Supporting communication, social engagement, executive functioning, and personal development through customised activities.
   
• Community Access & Inclusion
  Assisted outings to social, recreational, medical, or therapeutic appointments—fostering confidence, safety, and connection in the wider world.
   
• Creative & Holistic Support Options
  Incorporating arts, mindfulness, and movement to encourage emotional expression, regulation, and overall wellbeing.
   
• Emotional & Behavioural Regulation
  Trauma-informed guidance to help manage stress, build resilience, and navigate daily challenges with more ease.
   
• Short-Term Respite & Overnight Care
  Providing trusted care while giving families or carers time to rest and recharge.
   
• Collaborative Planning & Parent/Carer Coaching
  Working together with participants and their support networks to ensure services reflect individual values, needs, and NDIS outcomes.
